Had such a great time today, with my friends... =)
A long talk at the playground... You'd probably think it was all crap...

I'm now determined... My friends enlightened me... Now, I'm blaming myself... I'm doing absolutely nothing! And that's what I'm blaming myself for...

Being a guy, totally upset over opportunities I claimed to haven't had when the truth is I had given them a miss... And who's supposed to pity me? I could have gone for it, but I decided not to... And then after that I act like some 8 year old not getting a toy he wants off the shelf...

Now, I'm ashamed of myself... Because of my attitude towards dreams, goals, objectives that I wanted to achieve...

My friends helped me... Glennice, Alexis and Nina specifically... Thanks a bunch to the three of you! Glenno taught me that nothing would work for you if you never tried for it... Alexis proved me useless when she told me I should have auditioned for Stage 52, a little club in our school that does talent showcasing opportunities for students... And Nina, wrapped it up for me...

"You give yourself too little credit. There are some things you are good at, but you put yourself down too much."

That wowed me... It was a little difficult to take in, so my response to that was still something similar to me being not good enough, or unable to do anything...

But now, I think they're all right... They've got me spot on... I'm gonna remain useless unless I try! And so I shall promise my friends this, and it's on my blog so it's in black and white.

At the next opportunity, I will try, TRY! Definitely go for it...

Kevin, I'm so sorry... I never gave you the chance to see what you had... You only believed in what you had, but never believed in the most important element embedded within you, yourself... I'm sorry I made you seem helpless and useless... I promise you, Kevin, I will try to fulfill your aspirations at the next opportunity possible... I promise...

Alright, by the way, I'm giving myself a fake name, which you could or couldn't choose to follow... My middle name is Garian... =) Please pronounce it correctly; as Gay-ree-en... And instead of Kelvin, or Kelwin, I've decided to have my name as Kevin...

Having not stepped onto the grand stage of the Hong Kong Coliseum for a long period of 2 years, Sammi returns, adding 4 shows after the high demand of more tickets were acknowledged after fans swept the tickets clean for the initial 6 shows, and the tickets for those 4 shows didn't stay for long either... Before every concert of hers I attend, I'd do my "homework," revise a little... This holidays, though 2 weeks long, would only feel like a week...

The first week into it, I've got, other than work, a few gift shopping sessions to attend to on Monday, followed by a project to discuss about... And on Tuesday, it's another project, and I gotta hand in my work too... Wednesday, it's a birthday party, before which I'll have to shop for a gift again... Thursday's probably the only day I'm free... But even then, that's just for now... I'm pretty sure it'd get packed with something else...

The week after this, I'll be in Hong Kong!! YAY! Awesome! I can't wait to see my dearest Sammi!

A night ago, on the bus, I stood behind someone, who had a badge on her bag... This was what it said, and I can still remember what it was...

"Never let go of a dream until you're sure you're ready to wake up and make it happen."

I stared at the badge for the whole trip... Well, sort of...

Could someone just provide me with answers?

But after thinking through it, a little while... Doesn't something similar like this happen to us all the time... We create a dare for ourselves, and before trying it we hesitate a little... And after we're brave enough to overcome it, and make it pass, we may fall at the next challenge...

These few days, there've been quite a number of things that have been upsetting me, including school and work... I haven't got a choice...

Haven't blogged for days...

Hahahaa! These past few days have been busy... From revision of work, to common tests, to assignments...

Despite being so busy and occupied, and despite my heavy lack of sleep, I have lived past these few days so meaningfully... And I'm still happy with the way I've lived past them...

Well, I'm really not boasting, but it's nice to know that there's one field you're good enough in to assist others in... I've helped many people over these past few days, and I did so because I realised I was able to, and thus wanted to... I haven't felt so useful for a very long time... In fact, this probably is the first time I felt so useful...

When I helped out with others' problems, I encountered my own... But it was being able to learn from those problems I helped to solve that made it an easier task... A sweet friend of mine was worried that my friends were taking me for granted... But really, even if it were true, I don't mind... Because I helped them on my own accord... I didn't lose out... I managed to finish my work on time too... I didn't lose out... I added a boost to my self-esteem... I didn't lose out...

Well really, I strongly believe the word 'help' has a meaning... Which doesn't state a return in favor... I'm helping, not lending... I shouldn't expect anything in return... I learned that the joy of helping people is the joy you get from being there for them, not the joy you get from gaining a benefit in return... In fact, if my friends had insisted on giving something back in return, I would get the sense that my friends and I were distant; that it was absolutely normal to get calculative...

In life, anyone would have realized that he couldn't have stood alone as an island... But what he mayn't have realized was that, he was part of that island... No one's ever left out, because everyone has their own significant role in making things work...

The unity of my class is what I'm absolutely amazed at... When some 15 people cram themselves in a tiny room of a haunted block, you'd expect nothing productive to result... But yet, what really happened was everyone, helping everyone else out in every way possible...

I love my class... And this bunch of friends I wish to keep... :)

Finally, I'm back on my blog... To be perfectly honest I've got nothing to post about... But just dropping by to just make my blog seem more alive... LOL!

I'm addicted to this racing game that my classmates had... Need For Speed: Most Wanted is a 3D racing game, with commendable graphics... I was never a fan of racing games but I guessed that had changed two days ago... Hahahaa!

Sammi's CD would be released soon, on the 10th of December!! AWESOME!!!!!! GONNA GET IT! But the album artwork doesn't look unique... It's nice, but lacking the 'wow' factor... When I saw it I was just like, "oh..." Nothing special... But it's nice, still...

Westlife's CD was released in Ireland yesterday, and would be released in the UK, and the EU, and a few other countries simultaneously on the 30th this month... I'm not sure when it would release in Singapore though... The songs are pretty alright, but there are too many sentimental tracks in there... Gets boring yea? And the artwork completely sucks... Like what-the-hell-is-that?! Four black figures in a context of Iceland... -_-|| You can't even see their faces... Or who's who, unless you scrutinze every pixel of the artwork... It's basically, BAD... LOL! Most songs are nice... But some are just as BAD... LOL! I can't believe I'm saying this...

Today's been a pretty terrible day... Everything just didn't seem to piece together well... With a helluvaload of misunderstandings, and a lecture about keeping my room tidy, my day is pretty much eff-ed... I just didn't see the point in blogging about this day because it's just that bad, I don't wanna talk about it...

I really wish to grow up, and fast... Can't wait 'til I'm independent and strong as an individual... Relying on others suck! Firstly, if your wall chooses to crack and collapse one day, you're just as screwed... Secondly, the person you rely on can choose whenever to stop supporting you... And living in fear of having that person leaving just sucks arse... Thirdly, naturally, when you rely on someone, that someone calls the shots... In other words, it's self-explanatory who's king or queen... In my opinion I think that's the worst way a person could manipulate another...

Have you seen my latest status on Facebook?

"I managed to offend my mother by doing NOTHING! I'm amazed at myself... -_- FML"

Well, seriously... How in the world did I manage to make her angry... Helluvaload we were talking to each other... And after the conversation had ended, she finished up with whatever she was doing and the next thing, she started flaring at me...

I could make a guess though... When she repeated herself too many times in the conversation, and after I responded the same thing for the first two times, the third time, I roared at her... Okay, no seriously, roaring, is what I considered funny and fun between my friends and I... What's this now? A generation gap?

I really don't think so... I tried explaining myself when she flared up at me... But mothers are still mothers... They never ever listen...

So what my mum had really bothered to take in, was my roar, which she took as a way I vented my frustration and took offence from... But she hadn't seen it the other way, before assuming she was right...

In every situation there're probably a thousand and one ways a person could see it as... Never, or at least, seldom, would there be one case where there're no other alternative ways it can seem... Why did my mum only see the bad side, and yet not see that maybe all I was trying to do was to prove my point... Why didn't she see it in a way where our relationship is so close, formality wasn't required at all...

From this situation, and prolly a gazillion other situations we've all experienced in our lives, can make me wonder and ponder about one, only one question...

Why are our minds so conditioned to pay attention to the dark sides of everything, and not at all to the better sides which may, at the end of the day, seem so much more important and significant? Why?

I really dread living with people who're so downright sensitive to such stuff... What's life if an opinion wasn't voiced? And what's life if all we do is sit on a chair in the middle of no where criticizing every single spec of dust our eyes can take in? Life should be more than that... More than just criticizing... More than just resenting... More than just hating...

I'm only 17... I'm learning how I should see the different angles of every object... If I stood at one position for days and stared at a stick, I would never have known that it actually wasn't a stick, but instead something else... Because I never moved... I never changed my point of view...

And yet isn't it ironic that such views, are what our eyes take in, are changing everyday? So it definitely isn't impossible for us to change our point of views too... It's all a matter of whether we'd want to, or whether we're willing to move on with our mindsets...

Hahahaa! I was so irritated with my mother, I told a dear friend of mine I was afraid to have girlfriends or a wife like that... Because they're afterall, WOMEN... Those nasty creatures change moods just like that! *snap!* And they change their minds even quicker than a blink of the eye... And so I begged her to turn me gay... Hahahaa!! Alright, so that's ending the post on a lighter note... Goodnight everybody...

Hello!

Well, it's bad news I'm bringing today... Not exactly a new piece of information, but rather information I've heard of but haven't blogged about... Well, the previous post was happy moments, so I thought it wouldn't really be alright to mix them up...

A Westlife member's, Nicky Byrne's, father just passed away on Tuesday evening, which was the morning of Wednesday on our side, from a heart attack at age 60... My thoughts are with him and his family... Not that they'd know, but well, it's the thought that counts... Take care Nix...

Rest in Peace Nicky Sr. ...

Other than that, I'm doing fine! Really well... Enjoying school... I haven't pressurised myself... And I'm living my days well... :)

Another week has passed... It felt like an unusually long week... Even though it's the week I've enjoyed myself the most in in a terribly long time...

Last Saturday, HuiYing, YinYao, and LiangYi, gave me another night of enjoyment, out of the countless ones they've already given me...

The next day, it was my dearest XiaoDan's birthday... =) She's awesome!!

Monday, I made a trip to the Red Dot Museum, and URA's Singapore City Gallery... To be quite honest I really didn't know there were such palces in Singapore, and I must say I had enjoyed myself that day... Especially since it's a trip with a few of my friends from polytechnic, AND MEL!

Tuesday, I met Rosanna after school, and we made our way to Vivocity so I could hand in my pay claims, and we could get XD the pendant which afterwards, had a photo of her and her name scripted onto it... We spent quite an awesome time together... And that night, my mum and sis gave me a birthday celebration... It was awesome! They gave me a cake, a dinner, and the star of the night, an iPod Nano...

Wednesday, was the day of my birthday itself... Happy Birthday to me yea? Hahahaa! I got birthday messages in the morning, and my cousin called to sing me a birthday song... When I walked into class that day, Jeremy offered me a handshake and a birthday wish... And soon after, Fadli followed, and a chain reaction started... LOL! Funny moment... During the break, I decided to stay in class so I could save my bucks... And when the break was about to end, and when the lecture was about to begin, Jessica was like, "WAIT WAIT!" and Fryderyk told my lecturer, William, to wait too... And then came in the birthday cake which absolutely gave the day and awesome start... Hahahaa! It actually feels nice to know that your friends are willing to go through the trouble to give you a mini birthday celebration... I mean before that it was me as one of the people wishing someone else in the class a happy birthday... And guess what... The awesome people in my class - that's everybody - gave me a pair Sennheiser earphones! LIKE GEEZ! Love them! Thanks to all of you yea? =) LOVE YOU ALL! That night, my cousins gave me a dinner treat to Swensen's... =) This birthday was great!

Thursday, well nothing much this day... Except the torturous e-learning...

Friday, was also a great day... Spent time recording our MDs... And after lessons, I met Rosanna, XD, and Jenny, who had all just came from a KTV session I couldn't join... LOL! They gave me a present, and we gave XD a present too... It was a 2-in-1 celebration I guess... Hahahaha!

AWESOME!

And then come Saturday... So, it's self-explanatory...

Anyway, I started the morning pretty well! Lovin' it... Had quite a good laugh when I saw this lad dancing to his music on his earphones... Literally, up on his feet and movin'... But he didn't do a good job... LOL! Thus my laugh...

Yo! Dear... non-existent reader... LOL!

I'm starting to believe that I really haven't got anyone reading my blog... LOL!
I've got a few stuff I'd consider interesting or exciting, or depressing... Scratch all of that... A few significant stuff that have happened over these few days that I found worth writing about...

The last weekend, I had achieved the best sales I had ever achieved on a single day in the store... Hahaaa! To be perfectly honest it might be because of the promotion... I sold 11 sets on Saturday... Another 8 on Sunday... Oh and also, some weren't exactly sold by me... Hahahaa! Let's just hope my manager doesn't read my blog... But then again he wouldn't... And he would never know my link... BLAHAHAHAHAHA!

Sunday was Fazhly's last day at work... Sigh... Without him there it's gonna be a lot more boring... All the best in all that you do buddy!

Today marks the second week at school... And I just can't believe how quickly a week drifts by! And I thought 10 weeks to Sammi's concert would feel like forever...Hahahaa! I picked 'badminton' for my sports module... We have photoshop lessons on Wednesday... Pretty awesome stuff, because I enjoyed those 4 hours last week, didn't expect I could sit through 4 hours without feeling sleepy... But Wednesday is a killer, with lessons from 9 in the morning to 6 in the evening... Terrible... But to console myself, I'm not the worst...

Westlife has just released their new single, What About Now!! It's pretty awesome! Although 'til today there're disputes over who's version is better, Daughtry's or theirs... Hahahaa! I really don't know who to pick, because I think both are really good... I've put Westlife's version, nonetheless, as my blog track though cos' I am, afterall, a fan... LOL! AND I BOUGHT THE SINGLE FROM Amazon.co.uk... Hahaa! This is great! It'll be the first single in my collection!

For readers who're wondering what the previous post was about... LOL! I was devastated, 2 days ago when I received news that I lost my ticket for one of Sammi's concert shows... Okay, hold it... It's not just "one of Sammi's concert shows"... It's the FRIGGIN' NEW YEAR'S EVE COUNTDOWN SHOW! -_- A few of the fans, and I, went to buy our tickets through this lad who knew people from the entertainment industry, which was true... But then he screwed up and we're now left without the tickets... -_-! So that's the sad story...

Anyway, I realised I have yet to post Sammi's concert poster and details on my blog, which happens to be a sin cos' I happen to be a fan...


Tickets for all 10 shows have been sold out, but her recording company has stated that no more shows would be added... I guess it was Sammi who didn't wanna do too many shows... Hahaa! The company had actually booked 16 dates... For Sammi to do 12, and just in case there's a need for additional shows, there'd be an allowance of 4... But Sammi had stated in an interview quite a while ago that she'd do her concert shows depending on how she feels... Which is, in my opinion, pretty smart... Because if you do 15 shows when you only wanna do 10... Then for the remaining 5 shows you wouldn't be as keen...

My idols are all coming up with new albums and tours... I'm EXCITED!
